PRETZEL BARK - If you don't know, now you know.

You asked for it, so here it is!!!!

I’m all about “treat yo’self” & this, in my “professional” opinion is the most delish treat to have on hand.

I got obsessed with pretzel bark on my recent trip to the US but came home and it was nowhere to be found (after I demised the suitcase full that I bought home). So I decided to hit up my local bulk foods refillery GoodFor & make my own!

It’s hard to call this a recipe because there is 3 steps & 2 ingredients but you asked for it!

You will need:


Dark Chocolate 

Baking Tray

Baking Paper

(simple huh!)

I made mine a little thick (got a wee excited when pouring the chocolate), but you can make it quite thin and add as many or as little pretzels as you like.

ALSO, you can use this recipe for literally any chocolate bark. Add your favourite nuts or dried fruit etc.


Melt the chocolate: if you haven’t done this before the best way is to fill a saucepan halfway with water, bring to a boil and then place a bowl over the top of the boiling water and add your chocolate into that. Stir continuously while it melts. If you put chocolate straight into a saucepan without using this method you risk burning it. 

Break up pretzel (if using pretzel bows) and place on a tray lined with baking paper.

Pour dark chocolate over pretzels & mix around. I used a wise to slowly move the chocolate around & to make sure the pretzels were evenly spread.

Place in the fridge overnight.

The next day, break up the chocolate into pieces and place in an airtight jar. Makes for a great gift or a pantry treat (if you can make it last long enough). If your house is warm store it in the fridge.
